Black Creek Arts Council operates a granting program that funds programs and projects by arts-presenting non-profit organizations and individual artists in Darlington County.

Application Information
If you or your organization is interested in applying for a grant from Black Creek Arts Council, contact Allison Pederson at 843.332.6234. You must contact BCAC before applying.
BCAC has four deadlines for grant applications.
Q1 Deadline: June 15 - This deadline is for projects taking place between July and September
Q2 Deadline: August 15 - This deadline is for projects taking place between October and December
Q3 Deadline: December 15 - This deadline is for projects taking place between January and March
Q4 Deadline: February 15 - This deadline is for projects taking place between April and June
When the 15th falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, the due date is the following Tuesday. If the 15th falls on a holiday, the due date is the next business day.
You must give credit to Black Creek Arts Council in ALL advertising, news releases, printed materials, and promotion and publicity. Samples of promotional material should be submitted with your final report.
When a grant is awarded, all project publicity and programs must contain the following statement:
"The cultural and artistic components of this project or program are funded in part by Black Creek Arts Council of Darlington County, which receives funds from Sonoco Foundation, South Carolina Arts Commission, and National Endowment for the Arts.”
